Type of Program/Services:An approved full day 8:30am to 2:45pm private school program for students 5 through 21.

Services Include:Speech/Language, Occupational, Physical Therapy and Counseling. Physical/Health Education, Music, Art, Community-Based Instruction, Supported Employment, Consumer Family Life Curriculum. The Phoenix Center's curriculum is aligned to the NJ Learning Standards. Classes employ Discrete Trial Instruction and DIR- Floortime Model. School Lunch & Breakfast Program, Parent and sibling support groups, Educational Workshops, Home visits available.

Mission Statement:The mission of The Phoenix Center, working in partnership with families and community, is to develop the potential of each student with significant developmental disabilities and those on the autism spectrum ages five through 21 and to provide customized, unique and individualized programs aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS). Promoting the development of the whole student, we care for, educate and empower our students and graduates so that they may develop life-centered skills which will prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
