Mission Statement: | The Holmstead School provides an educational and therapeutic milieu for adolescents who possess high intellectual potential but have been unable to achieve successfully in the traditional secondary school setting. The emphasis on innovative and flexible college preparatory education gives bright adolescents an opportunity to change their motivation and performance, in order to realize both academic and behavioral growth. Students are afforded the opportunity to participate in weekly individual or group psychotherapy sessions in an effort to build trust, enhance self-image and promote achievement. |
