Mission Statement: | The Fedcap School is part of Fedcap, a not-for-profit agency. A pioneer in vocational rehabilitation, Fedcap has an 80 year track record of impact and proven outcomes in helping youth with an array of educational challenges complete high school, go to college, and/or train for careers in high growth sectors such as health care, culinary arts, hospitality and facilities maintenance. Our program emphasizes the "transition" component of the IDEA law; assessing each student for their pre-vocational capacity, interests and desires. By utilizing a small teacher to student instructional ratio and focusing on a behavioral competency criteria model of training before graduation, we work with each student to develop meaningful and sustainable life, career, educational and employment skills. |
