Mission Statement: | Harbor School has been in existence for the past fifty years, serving children with learning disabilities, neurological impairments, communication disabilities, multiple disabilities, emotional disability and autism. The educational program focuses on individualized academics, social/behavioral interventions and functional skills training. Integrated therapy services available are OT, PT, and speech/language services, as well as music therapy and adaptive physical education. Augmentative services available include the following: extended school year; safety patrol; aerobics; ; swimming; chorus; transitional work program; parent support program; instrumental groups and pre-vocational work groups. |
